Cajatambina encantadora, aroma de las flores;
hermosa, preciosa, compasiva, alma de virgen;
encarnamiento perennizado de mis ilusiones,
luces admirada y delicada en este corazón.

Airosa, inquieta y dulce redimes mi esperanza,
Es cierto: Me sangran mis ojos de tanto mirarte,
me corre por el cuerpo un sudor imperturbable,
como si quisiera arrancarme las fuerzas de tu amor.

¿Cómo es verdad que los vientos llevan suspiros
que en los matorrales fecundos reinan las sirenas?
¿Cómo es verdad que por la gloria rielan de contentos
y en nuestras vidas será posible que no nos amemos?
